This is a Soft Edge Curved Dining Table, model 5259, designed by George Nelson for Herman Miller in 1953. The piece has a walnut top and white enameled steel legs, and this particular silhouette was only produced for a short time between 1953 and 1955. It was produced in the USA.
The table measures 29 inches high, 78 inches in width and 42 inches in depth. It is in very good vintage condition, but remains almost 70 years old. Please expect light signs of wear and use. It has a scratch in the finish (shown in the photos). Its overall in remarkably nice condition for its age. If you would like it to be refinished prior to shipping, we can easily arrange for this also with prompt turnaround, though we would recommend leaving it exactly as it is.
